| The altars are created by waving together hundreds of individually marbled sections of Rives BFL white or Arches buff paper. Each paper is layered with as many as a dozen applications of watercolor and lithographic inks. The pieces are mounted on lightweight and durable foamcore and subjected to a polymer sealant. |
